LIGHTING UP BRUFF CHRISTMAS 2009

Bruff is set to be lit with Christmas street lighting again this year thanks to the generousity of the Traders and some local organisations. The Lighting up Festival takes place on Sunday 6th December at 6pm and it is planned to have a very festive ceremony for people to enjoy. It is of great credit to the new committee of The Cultural and Arts Society for their endeavours in encouraging the Buisiness community to row behind this project to maintain the towns profile in such difficult times. Lets see a big show of community support for the

TRACTOR RUN

The Tractor Run for BBF was a great success with great encouragement to further develope its potential to entertain and raise funds in years ahead for Milford Hospice. The total of 840 euro collected this year was a good start and appreciation and thanks to all who contributed. Congratulations also to Pat Dunne who won the draw for two tickets to the Ire v Italy game.
Thanks to everyone who came out to support the Festival and helping to make it such a success.
